Billiani
Milan, Italy — For Milan Design Week 2026, international design and architecture studio DAAA Haus is proud to announce an exclusive collaboration with historic Italian furniture maker Billiani. This limited-edition collection will be unveiled at Cabron DAAA Haus Space, located at Corso Monforte 23, available for viewing strictly by appointment.
The collection is a masterclass in playful deconstruction—a signature of DAAA Haus. By taking Billiani’s heritage craftsmanship and classic silhouettes, DAAA Haus has reimagined them through the lens of global street fashion. These are no longer mere products; they are sculptural objects designed to tell a story of volume, light, and transparency.

The Royal H
A sophisticated indoor reimagining of Luigi Billiani’s classic outdoor Harry collection. While retaining the iconic proportions inspired by Venice’s legendary Harry’s Bar, the Royal H brings the vibrant spirit of the Mediterranean indoors. The wooden structure features a striking sprayed royal blue finish—a tribute to the deep coastal hues of Santorini and Malta—paired with an intricate, tonal hand-woven cord seat that showcases Billiani’s meticulous attention to detail.

The Bold Lounger & Marcela Table
This pairing explores the synergy between Japanese artistry and Italian flair.
- Marcela: A delicate reimagining of Kazuhide Takahama’s 1970s Marcel table, featuring pink-tinted glass inspired by luxury optical lenses and cherry blossom season.
- The Bold armchair: Grounding the lightness of the table, this iteration is upholstered in a tactile black and white bouclé—inspired by the giant panda—with a subtle pink framework to unify the duo.

The W. Chair Deconstructed
A radical exploration of the “hidden soul” of furniture. By adopting a deconstructed philosophy, the iconic W. Chair is upholstered in high-fashion, translucent TPU. This transparency reveals the chair’s complex internal anatomy—precise joinery and structural webbing—typically concealed from the eye. A continuous tubular foam element wrapped in a clear casing adds a playful, avant-garde touch to this study of form and function.

The collection represents an inspirational journey that elevates the perception of Billiani products, creating a powerful dialogue between raw detail and high-fashion aesthetics.
